Where’s Walter?

Somebody’s figured out how to climb. I found him last night on the crate, where I’ve got assorted dog stuff stacked currently. This morning I found him under the kitchen table on a chair.

Of course!... Some time ago I submitted pix of a cairn on the top of a chain-link fence, and another of "Stewie" in a tree!☺️

for some reason it is hard to convince some new cairn owners that they climb like monkeys. people think fences actually do something in relation to cairns. they just provide a new fun thing to dig under or climb over.

Oh how funny!

Our two previous Cairns, Scout and Finch, NEVER climbed. One hot summer day we were staying with some friends in the country. They invited us to bring Scout and Finch, and of course we said yes! On our second morning, we woke up to find Scout standing on top of the kitchen table eating a stick of butter! She never climbed up on our kitchen table at home, and didn't climb after we came home. We had a good laugh because there wasn't anything else we could do.
