It was supposed to be a Kodak moment

We've concluded the first month of having Amos & Walter, and they have gotten used to the schedule and are learning the ropes of our home. I have regular times I take them out, and I took them out at 8pm for their last free run in the back yard. I brought my ipad out so I could read my textbook for the class i'm taking. Out of the corner of my eye I see Walter running through the apple trees with something flopping in his mouth. I get up to get a closer look, grabbing my phone to take a picture because i'm convinced the 7 pound wonder has scored his first Mole... Convinced. Until he runs past me as I see a featherless bird head flopping around as he does a figure 8 around me with Amos hot on his heels. Great. This isn't a small bird, its a fledgling and it has wings and feathers. I stick my head in the door and call Steve to come help me.  We spend the next 10 minutes trying to catch the Walter the 7 pound wonder as he runs his little heart out with his prize. Did I mention our back yard is a half acre?  I finally get my hands on him and pick his little furry self up as Steve prys the very dead and stinky prize from him.

This was supposed to be a Kodak moment,  the first Mole that wasn't.

I swear the ghosts of Mett & Bratt are talking to them.

Kodak moment achieved. I think Nala might have given them the mole, but I’m nit sure. I took it away from them since it was alive and they don’t know how to do a clean kill yet, being only 16 weeks old.
