toomanypaws
Morning everyone, I was just scrolling through ebay while enjoying my coffee and came across this stuffed cairn that looks so real I had to show you. Look how high the bid already is. That just amazes me. Just click on the "stuffedcairn" to see. stuffedcairn Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)

Baerchen
I was too at a loss for words. At first I really thought that it was real (especially with the different poses) and then I noticed the paws on that last photo..... That is really incredible. bradl
It seems possible that the concept of the Uncanny Valley - normally applied to robotic devices and other human simulacrums - might apply to pets as well! CathyAnn
I showed the pics to hubby without mentioning it was a stuffed Cairn...told him after the fact. He couldn't believe it, either!!!! Cathy Cathy and Piper
Bekah
Could you imagine having that stuffed Cairn in the same house as your real Cairn? I'm afraid it would drive my dog nuts!!
Scully'sMom
Now THAT was spooky! A couple of hundred dollars more and it would be what we paid for Scully. Phew!
bradl
No barking, no biting, no grooming, no leaks, no poops. Terrible recall, but terrific at "Stay!" Really, for many, this would be the ideal dog. toomanypaws
Finally, a cairn that won't run away. Wow!, I edited this to add her last cairn sold for over $3,000! Click on the item number below and then scroll down to the 2nd item (this same item number) to see the last cairn. It was a gray one. 5555858757 Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)
bradl
Yes but you would have to worry about him being stolen! CAIRNTALK: Questions? Need help? → Support Forum Please do not use PMs for tech support CRCTC: Columbia River Cairn Terrier Club
CathyAnn
That's ALOT of $$$$moola$$$$!!!!! I wonder if the lighter one will go that high? Or higher??? Personally, I think it looks more realistic than the gray one. Cathy Cathy and Piper

Mama Kim
Am I the only one who thinks that it is kind of creepy?? Too life like, if you ask me. Why would you pay that much for a stuffed Cairn when you could just have a real one?? Creeped me out!! MikeC
The only thing that really gives this "stuffed" (that term in itself is freaky) Cairn away to me is the nose. It seems a little too short to me. Gee, what's next....posable stuffed children to play with the posable stuffed dogs? MikeC

Eliz222
It's up to $810 dollars now! I wonder how long it takes her to make each one?
Toto times 2
Beautiful but out of my price range. If I had that money I would be putting it towards a cairn puppy. She certainly is talented. I make stuffed animals and that realistic look is very difficult.
magadog
It would be cheaper to take my present ones to the taxidermist. Is it anatomically correct? Jill The only stuffed Cairns I have are that way because they steal food from the pantry.
