Sam I Am
I know this is kind of rude...but hit home for me and most likely other Cairn parents. 2 2 Quote Until one has loved an animal, a part of ย one's soul remains unawakened. ย -ย Anatole France Adventures with Sam &Rosie ย
Catalyzt
The other day I called Spike because it was time to go to bed in the "crate" (my home office.)ย He did not come when he was called, and after searching for him at some length, I found him lying silently, in an alert posture, almost like a "down" position, under a cabinet near the front door where he was invisible, but could watch me wandering around calling for him. "What are you doing?" "What do you mean?ย I don't understand the question." "I mean WHAT are you doing lying there." "I'm lying here, like you said." "Were you watching me?!" "Yes.ย It was interesting." "It's time for bed!" "I heard you say that." "Come upstairs to your crate!" "I often do that." And so on.ย Yeah, bit of an a$$h0le for sure!

Hillscreek
ย Such a typical cairn interaction. Not sure I'd use that word to describe such smart, sassy creature as a cairn. Annoying yes but stupid definitely not.ย
Eliz222
I like to think of Cairns as little dogs with big dog attitudes.
