Introducing Birdie!

I flew home with this little darling this week. She didn’t make a peep in the Sherpa, and was an amazingly mellow little traveler. She seems to like her new home and pack just fine, and we are completely smitten. Her two year old half-sister, Aila, is thrilled to have her here, and even brings her toys. Our old girl likes her, too, in her own curmudgeonly way. She is busy these days training for the Nap Olympics, so doesn’t have a lot of time for a puppy.

Oh my, I am in love! Birdie is adorable and I love her little perky ears! May I ask how old Birdie is? We are getting a little male Cairn puppy soon, and he looks about the same age as Birdie.

Birdie is twelve weeks old, plus a few days. Such a fun age!

It is! That's about how old mine will be when we pick him up mid month. Life is hectic, but exciting with a puppy!

Swoon...cannot imagine anything more fun than a cute little cairn puppy.  Welcome to the cairn terrier "flock" at Cairntalk, Birdie! We hope to see lots of you.

Thanks so much for Birdie’s warm welcome.

Here she is with two year old Aila. It seems like Aila was a new puppy just yesterday, but suddenly we realize how grown up she is.

Wow ... she is really angelic.  Soft sweet little eyes.  Looks like there isn't a mischievous bone in her body ..... 😉

Oh  on, you’ve been snowed by her cuteness.  She’s a Cairn, they are NOT angels, just the best ever, but not angelic.  They’re up to something.  She IS really cute!

She is a sweet and easy going puppy, but at the same time she’s full of curiosity and already has her own ideas about things. It’s going to be a fun life with little Birdie.
