Thank you Maria! :) Axle is thought to be ~ 3 yrs old (we adopted him so we don't know his exact age) while Cami turned 20 weeks yesterday. They are really adorable and are up to nonsense all the time...

I don't need another dog...I don't, I don't!!! That puppy makes me want to go get a third....do I have a case of threedogitis? I think it would kill me, and it is my husband!!!!

What cuties!

Yes , fine looking family. Now I can't wait until we get our new pup, Gunther, in two weeks...Never had 2 dogs before, let alone 2 cairns. How did you go about introducing them to each other?

We are thinking, get the pup, drop wife and pup off a park a block away from house and then taking Cherokee to the park to meet her new little brother... Weather permitting of course.

Note to Cybernator-

When we got Yoda, I put him in one of the exercise enclosures in the backyard then went in the house to bring Cooper out. I left them separated like that for about 15mins as they snooped and looked each other over, Yoda in the pen, Cooper outside. Then I opened the door on the pen so they could go in/out, and Cooper was immediately inside! They were fast friends and now are companions in crime! They give me a run for the money!

I loved looking at their pictures! They are both so adorable!:wub: I can just imagine how much fun you are having w/ 2. For me, going from 1 to 2 was harder than going from 2 to 3. I love having 3 cairns. They definitely keep me busy, but it's a nice kind of busy.

The dogs are indeed a handful but definitely worth it. :) When we first got Cami, our schedule turned upside down and it was fairly stressful and a lot of HARD work. Those morning duties nearly killed us... :P She is much better now and we could at least watch her from a far instead of tending to her all the time. The most difficult part was to tend to Cami and give lots of attention to Axle at the same time. There were 2 jealousy incidents whereby Axle left us pee puddles when we brought Cami out to relieve herself first instead of him when we returned from work. Never did we do that again...

Cybenator, Axle is not dog-friendly in the first place. He was able to tolerate 2 dogs that we often meet during his walks but not other dogs. We thought he would be fine with a female puppy but boy we were wrong. During their first meet, we brought both dogs to a park in separate cars and introduced them through a fence. Axle did not like her one bit and kept trying to attack her. After spending an hour out in the cold, we decided to head home feeling rather depressed. It took ~2 weeks before Axle finally accepted Cami. During the 1st. week, we had to keep Cami separated from Axle, in separate rooms. The 2nd. week was better because they could both co-exist in the same room and we worked at getting Axle to accept Cami. I was so sad and stressed during the 1st. week cause I feared Axle would never accept her and we would have to give Cami away. Thank goodness for a happy ending and they are now best buddies... With that said Cybe, I am sure you will have an easier time introducing Cherokee to Gunther! Just give lots of love and attention to Cherokee so that she won't feel left out.
