Been away for awhile

Sassy and I moved to Mesquite Nevada a month ago. Hot as a rapid fired pistol, but it is a dry heat.

Sassy is doing pretty good for 15 years and 4 + months old. She is almost totally deaf and blind in her left eye, with a forming cataract in her right eye. She can still catch tossed treats though. Trying to get her used to wearing sunglass goggles today since when walking towards a low on the horizon sun she flinches quite frequently.

Still not a lap dog and an independent little cuss.

We are still kind of getting settled in here, so I will be back when I can.

I did just join the Zoom club so that may be a fun thing to do.

Sounds like housewarming is literal in NV.  I can definitely picture Sassy rocking some shades  the one time I was privileged to meet her she had a certain star quality about her

Sassy grudgingly wearing her goggles. She is not aware but they are helping just as hoped to keep the sun from bothering her vision. She just wants them off. And it is a bit of a struggle getting her to wear them. Cookies help.

 Cassy - you may hate the goggles but they sure do make you a great looking cairn girl!! The hair do is perfect.

Oh my...I just want to cuddle her. So sweet. Some of us are also getting a bit long in the tooth but you are looking fabulous.

Sassy, you look FABULOUS in those goggles!  They give you that air of mystery that every Cairn girl needs.  You're my idol!
