Hello Everyone

I'm "new" to the board. I've been checking on information since I joined in November when I brought home Enya. She's 22 weeks old now and is quite a number  She's doing well with housebreaking so far - but, we're not quite there yet. She's the first Cairn I've had and I'm considered getting another (maybe young adult). Here she is "The Pampered One"

Oh how I love the grey coloring! She is precious!!

My puppy Elliott is about the same age and we're still in the housetraining mode too.

I would like to give you a warning, however. Cairn terriers are addicting! Sometimes one is just not enough! :)

Welcome to a great forum w/ great people. I'm sure you'll feel right at home here. Your little Enya (cute name) is precious. She is so cute! I have 3 now and think I'm stopping at that. :D They definitely are addicting but I can think of worse addictions.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Enya is a brindle (wheaten, with a splotch of silver on her face, and black) I brought her home @ 9 weeks, she was completely dark with wheaten tips. Everyone that saw her thought she was wet :D But, so far she's turning wheaten. More pics and her bio are out on Dogster under: www.dogster.com/?91068

Welcome Enya and her mom! She's adorable! I know she's going to give you years of laughter and love. I speak from experience that having one cairn is nice, but two is divine! My boys are best friends and entertain eachother all day long!

Welcome! I have only had my adopted Cairn about 2 months and there hasn't been even one day that I haven't laughed at the antics! They're great - enjoy!

Welcome Enya and her mom. I went on Dogster to look at her pix and she is just too cute for words. I know you are really enjoying her and her puppy ways (well mostly enjoying). The cairn is a real clown and loves attention but also loves to have their way by being so cute. Again, welcome.

Welcome to Enya and her Mommy from Karen, AnnieK and Sofia! I she named after the Songstress (I really enjoy her album - good crying music).

So many beautiful new puppies! My puppy lust is growing by leaps and bounds - but that's a good thing!

Yes, actually she was. I was supposed to just be "looking" when went to see the puppies on October 30th. She was the one that ran right in to me and gave kisses. So, we marked her ear and hoped that it wouldn't fade until we came back. I had no idea at the time what litter letter she was (I wasn't even aware that that's how the registered breeders do it here). The night before - I had been thinking of what I should name her. I had come up with Sophie, Yasmin and Enya. On that Saturday we picked her up - the breeder said that I would have to choose a name with "E". But, it seems to fit her well. It's Celtic for "little fire" which she proves that she is every day. :)
