Sam is very protective of me.. actually a little to protective. We were out for our daily walk when there was a gentleman who had a mobile tire changing van changing our neighbours tires. I asked him for his business card, but when he started to walk towards me with his hand outstretched  Sam took umbrage at what he must  have perceived as a threat to me..I think.  Suddenly I had a guard dog at the end of the leash..yikes. I got after him and made him sit but he never took his eye off this man. It’s interesting as I have never had that reaction from him. Anyone else ever had this happen? These little dogs are so intuitive and tuned in to what is around them...more so I think than some other breeds.
