Love that face and turned out toes. Usually it's the front left one as some say cairns are "lefties". Since a lot of their work in ancient days involved digging into dens a turned out paw was thought to make digging easier. When my Angus was a pup we actually had to give him a place where he could dig as much as he wanted otherwise he was a terror in the veggie garden. After he turned about eighteen month he gradually gave up digging unless it was for a special purpose.
