Pepper Bug's Mom

Recommended Posts

I puppy sat my granddaughter's Corgi for 4 days....a lot of work and a barky dog!!!  Thank heavens we have baby gates - the cat never left the bedroom half of  the house and Brodie the youngest Cairn was not happy at all.  The Corgi gave Pepper (the top dog in our house) plenty of personal space, while Teddy, the yellow lab, put up with the Corgi.  They were all thrilled when the Corgi went home.

Quite the household there!  Afraid it would be too many dogs for me...but on my dog "wishlist" I have always hoped for both a corgi and an Irish wolfhound.  But two cairns is enough for us.  We do not want to be outnumbered!

Though I think we are regularly "outsmarted..."

Ha-ha... I enlarged the photo and looked at a close-up of the corgi’s eyes and I can’t stop laughing! The expression, “a deer caught in the headlights” doesn’t even begin to describe it!
