We had our second snow of the year today...and it's still snowing! I thought I would share a few pictures with you. Scout ran around the yard more, so it was harder to get pictues of her. Finch spent most of her time with her nose in the snow "hunting".

Oh, I'm so jealous! I'm living in the wrong state. It's doing nothing but rain here. I love that close up of Scout, what a look. I sure wish I had taken more of my 3 in the snow when we were in North Carolina. Kiara wouldn't hold still for a picture and Abbey wouldn't come outdoors. Oh well, I'll just have to enjoy everyone else's pictures of their cairns in the snow. This was the only picture I got of Hannah.

Thanks for sharing, keep them coming!

Great pictures Shoe and Beth! Cairns really look cute in snow. I wish we had some snow in CA for Duffy to play in. I would love to see what he would do.

Shoe, your dogs are gorgeous and so photogenic (sp?) Every single picture is wonderful. I also love the dark Cairns....all my 3 are on the light side.

Do you know what that means?

Thanks, everyone! My DD took them to the park this afternoon (after their trip to our backyard :)) and they had a great time. We ended up with about 4 inches of snow, although it was very wet snow!

Kayharley, Scout and Finch are our first dark Cairns. We have always had light Cairns and they are my favorite color...but I wuv my dark Cairns. Scout is a grey brindle with some red highlights and Finch is a true blue red brindle with the most beautiful red color!

Now those are some happy pups! Scully just loves the snow but so far we haven't had any. I can't wait until spring when we get the yard fenced in so she can run to her heart's content and have a great time - especially when it snows.

Wonderful pics Shoe! What gorgeous pups!

I'm too far South, for snow. Although it actually snowed down here for Christmas. Been like 80 years, since it snowed on X-mas. Ironically my house was a lil' too far north to get the snow, but the puppers saw the remains of it when we went to my Mom's that day. Not enough to toss a snowball for them to catch though. Ah well I'll live vicariously though your pics. :)

Great pics! I love the one of Finch as a pup sleeping in the toy bin!

They do love the snow, don't they? Carolina will snow plow with her face and come in completely covered! It's a hoot!

Parnone I love your videos and the link to the t-shirts is great! Did you do the editing yourself??

Great slide show Shoe. What is Scout scouting for under the snow? Molly always has her nose in the snow too. I heard mice run under the snow. Is that true? Finch is a beauty, I love their dark colors too. We had a few inches of snow on the ground for a few days, but it was so warm last night it all melted and its raining today. The cold weather is due back this afternoon with snow or sleet. Crazy winter so far this year. Molly's Gram

Thanks, everyone! I'm not sure what Finch was looking for in the snow. She's quite the hunter and always finds mice and dead animals...charming, huh? LOl!

Carolinasmom, Finch still loves to sleep in her plastic toy bin. We put it on the side so she can get her toys, and she goes inside and falls asleep! Here she is a few days ago.

You can see the red ball underneath her.

Aw Thanks hallswell! Except for Idgie the Jack ones, the rest of the videos are edited by me. I've got lots of ideas for new videos, so I'll put a post up when I add a new one.

Hey Shoe, you need to send Finch over to teach Murph to hunt. I had a mouse in the house last year and I was running around, madly gesturing in its direction and hollering for Murph to get'em. Murph looked at me like I'd lost my mind. Made zilch move to get the mouse. Told him, he'd been hanging around Collies too long. :)

My husband found a small snake in the basement under an old dresser he called the cat to catch it Molly got there faster then Holly (the cat) there was a scuffle to see who would get it first . Molly won. She killed it before she brought it out from under the dresser. Holly takes care of all the varmints outside. She only eats the heads (yuk) so I have to watch out that Molly don't get to the bodies before me. Molly's Gram
