Alice Rogers and Corinne S. W. Ward

I am looking for biographical information on Alice Rogers and Corinne S. W. Ward. Rogers and Ward are the authors of an historic (October 1, 1934) article about Cairns that I have obtained through Interlibrary Loan. It appears that they are British. I recently had an e-mail conversation with an English Cairn Breeder. This person rightly pointed out that the 1934 American Kennel Gazette article features extensive quotations from British sources but does not appear to have been written in the UK. My mistake.

Despite its many readers, this post to the CTCA Forum has not led to any biographical information on Rogers or Ward.

"Mrs. Henry F. Price and Mrs. Byron Rodgers are credited with gaining approval of the Cairn Terrier in the United States." From the CTCA Website, History Page.

Does anyone know if Mrs. Byron Rodgers and Alice Rogers are the same person? Was Alice married to Byron? [i am wondering if there was a typo with the "d".] This is a longshot I know but I thought I would ask.
