Sam after a vigorous walk with his sister Rosie and a lot of goofing off afterwards, in true puppy fashion basically fell asleep where he was at that moment. That moment being the bottom of the stairs. No we or Rosie  didn't trip him:P

I miss those days so much. He is adorable.

I remember Kelly would go so hard for so long and then just fall over asleep, sometimes in scary places. She fell asleep in her water bowl while drinking water one time. lol

Such a typical Cairn photo.  Good thing nobody stepped on the little devil!  A sleeping Cairn is a rare and beautiful thing, though.
