I just have to come up with a clever Scottish saying to tag along with his call name.

I looked these up online... There are tons more, but you've probably done this by now!

"Whit's fur ye'll no go past ye." ...

"You're a wee scunner!" ...

"She's up to high doh" ...

"A pritty face suits the dish-cloot" ...

"Awa' an bile yer heid"

"Don't be a wee clipe!" ...

"Yer bum's oot the windae!" ...

"I'm going to the pictures"

Yes all we need in the house now is the Irish Wolfhound and the Westie! I can't let me DH see this....he will have a heart attack.

I think a Wolfhound would be perfect for the Alberta winters.  First, you'd never have to shovel a path for them; second, hook them up to a sled and you could go anywhere!  :P

Idaho Cairns

I know our house is going to be maddening come the first of July--middle daughter's husband is headed to Hawaii to set up a new household and my daughter will be here  3 months with her Cairn, her Aussie, and her Great Pyrenees!  While they are regular guests due to the frequent military orders he gets, this is going to be a test of patience for my dear wife and her vacuum.
Even with that, I wish I had a little Brodie in the mix--what a perfect little Cairn puppy face he has!!!!

Haha.  That will be a great story to tell Sanford when you're an old man. :)  Love it!

Alert the media! Thanks to little Brodie, I became a minor celebrity on 5th Ave.

I was catching up on some of last week's posts and finally saw this.  What a great story!  I'll be chuckling all day whenever I think about it.

Oh - and you're *not* just some "old guy with a cell phone" to us!:D
