Gus and the chocolates

The chocolate part certainly got my attention...yikes. But relieved when I opened your post to see amazing pictures of Gus and such beautiful flowers! The west coast is such an amazing place especially if one likes gardening  (as I do but stuck in the prairies)

Never seen these flowers. Beautiful. And more so with Gus among them!

I love seeing the wild flowers when I'm out with Angus. Currently wild violets are everywhere.

I am glad that we don't have the kind that smells like dog droppings!!! Enough of that around.

Here are a couple more shots of the chocolate lilies, growing amidst the much more prolific blue camas.

I feel so lucky that Gus and I can ramble on this hillside whenever we want, just 15 minutes from home.

Oh my, what beautiful flowers and Gus among them too!  I am a gardener, or at least I like to think I am, but have never seen chocolate lilies before, they are so pretty and I also love the blue camas.  I usually winter sow a lot of my annual and perennials but never got around to it this past winter.

Gus is so stinking cute and he looks like he's having a wonderful time walking among the wild flowers.
