Popular Post kjwarnold
Kirby is just starting to play with Phinney. I guess he's finally getting over the loss of Packy, some problems with his Addison's Disease/electrolytes and just getting used to having a puppy in the house. It sure makes me happy that he's feeling better and adjusting. Funny, I see him doing things that Packy used to do and Phinney is becoming the cuddle bug that Packy was. It makes me miss Packy and I know he would have been great with Phin, but it's kind of like he's watching over us. So last night Kirby decided to get involved in the tug game, which thrilled Phinney. He got the zoomies and about halfway through the race, I started recording. The little guy is fast and he kept it up quite a while! 13 Quote Jandy and my Cairns, Kirby & Phinney
Sam I Am
So sweet. Yes no doubt you miss Packy. It's tough to lose the old ones but when a new puppy comes into your home, your heart can't help but open up. Even Kirby is starting to fall under the spell. 1 Quote Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened. - Anatole France Adventures with Sam &Rosie
hheldorfer
Phin is full of puppy energy. What fun to watch him race around with the sheer joy of being a Cairn!
Hillscreek
Had to laugh at Phin's zoomies. Good thing your home is open plan! I'm sure Kirby absorbed lots from Packy and will be to Phin like Packy was to him. So Packy will be there too in this way. So sweet and heart warming. remltr
Now that was funny. You had a hard time keeping Phin in the camera frame. You'll do better next time. Quote Sassy Jan 22, 2005 AM. CH. THARRBARR LITE MY FIRE ZOMERHOF
bradl
Zoomies are a can't-fail mood picker-upper. I could (and probably should) watch them every day. 3 Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions? _whits_
The look on Kirby's face and his tail wag... So glad the two are becoming friends. It's hard to resist a Cairn puppy, even for a Cairn! 3 Quote "as far as i am concerned cairns are the original spirit from which all terriers spring, and all terriers are cairns very deep down inside." pkcrossley
Lupinegirl
Goodness, I'd forgotten how fast puppy zoomies are. Lol Even his panting sounds happy. What a couple of cuties they are. Nikki still races down the hallway and the stairs every morning, and he runs to the couch after our walk to rub his back and face on it and roll with all four feet in the air. That's been his routine since he was a wee bairn and he still does it, albeit at a slower pace. XD
kieiras mom
Love Zoomies. Keira occasionally still does them, but not often
Popular Post bradl
It's fun when the young whippersnappers entice the older dogs to join the race. The oldsters seem to take more shortcuts When Haggis was old and the younger dogs would be zooming around the back yard he was too slow (and possibly blind) to join them; he'd stand there and sort of nod his head and lean into the direction of the pack as they zoomed by as if to join them telepathically. It was beyond charming. 11 Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions? Rylee's mama
Love him. He makes me want a second one! Phinn reminds me of rylee. Rylee got the zoomies earlier today and ran right into my Christmas tree and slid the skirt(I was so scared he was going to knock it over)
Malcolm's Dad
Look at Phinney go! He is going to be such a fun dog. Kirby has mellowed out. Malcolm doesn't do zoomies lately. The older he gets the more calm he gets. I think Phinney will get Kirby charged up some.
Dempsy's Mom
I agree. If you didn't giggle at that video you need to lighten up. Little Phin is gonna be really fun over the holidays. More videos please. 3 Quote Elsie, Max, Meeko & Lori

Bridget
Zoomies, tee hee! My Corgi owning pals call it "Frapping" (Frequent Random Acts of Pandemonium).
bradl
I like that too; pandemonium is always appropriate with terriers and/or puppies in the house. We also used to call it FRAPing although from the Kilcommons book — I think their phrase was Frenetic Random Activity Period. It's such a remarkable and delightful thing to see it sort of lends itself to colorful names. 2 Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions?
