Jock

So here I was just browsing my Facebook and up popped a picture of my boy Jock. Facebook has an annoying habit (there are many of them) of bringing up old pictures they call memories. Well this is one case where I was not annoyed. This picture was pre Rosie, pre cancer , with his favorite ball, Ms Ball. I loved his smile, his passion for play, his snarkyness, and his fierceness of always thinking he had to protect me....even from my DH (who also loved him. Jock kind of tolerated him). No matter how much I also love Rosie, in my heart there was and will only ever be, my Jock. Never to be replaced.

Jock was one of a kind, no doubt about that. I remember his...err..."love affair"... with Ms. Ball.   That's a lovely pic of him.

I enlarged Jock's face until it filled the entire screen of my iPad. Wow! Those bright, intelligent eyes just gripped me... What a treat!

P.S.  I was thinking the same thing as Autumn when I saw the pic.  He had quite a romantic attraction to Ms. Ball, didn't he?
