Mom I thought spring was here!!

We went out to check the cows this morning and came back to the house with the best snow boots ever!  I took Demps in and ran lukewarm water over his legs and tummy.  The robins feel a lot like Demps.

Oh, Wow! Now that is cute. That gives a whole new meaning to the term snow boots. Dempsy you look dashing in them.

Crazy I know but here in Edmonton Alberta, it's 9degrees Celsius, no snow at all . The Canada geese are here, pussy willows in bloom. Bizarre! Rosie has no snow boots.

As cute as they are, I don't think Dempsy appreciates wearing his snow boots at this time of year.  Poor guy.  He's looking forward to all the spring farm activities.

Do not want to look- it is first day of spring and I have put my snow shovel away. The guy who plows my drive for me never takes the plow off his pickup until middle of April - just incase!

Demps you are absolutely adorable!  Love the boots.  Maisie likes to lie down and pick/lick at the snow that sticks to her paws and other places after she's had a romp in the snow.

Funny, our backyard could be completely free of any snow with the exception of one little patch somewhere and Maisie will make it a point to find it and roll all over it.  Not sure what the attraction is but she loves doing it.

Not a flake here - tomorrow, Saturday, sounds rainy but so far so good on the flakes.  About 75 miles south of us they got hit.

Angus says, Mom where are your boots? Temp today 60 with rain. Dropping to high of 30 by Sunday with snow. Radio forecast says possible accumulation. A forecast we don't want to hear in April

They keep throwing the snow threat at us yet too.  Rained a little this morning and wind blew like crazy and by afternoon it is beautiful out yet still a possibility of a scuff of snow this week.
