The Big 6

[Dempsy's Mom]

Today it's been 6 years since I joined the cairn world.  I relive Dempsy's gotcha day - he was snotty to me and another dog was in the running for a home, but Dempsy won out.  I am so very thankful that I took Demps, because his little dribbling problem may not of been tolerated by many.  It was meant to be.
 
This morning Dempsy woke up with loves, we snuggled on the couch (which I am not sure he totally appreciated) then he and Elsie played a little - now I packed his lunch along with Elsie's and he will join us for a short time in the combine.  He is excited and seems to know this is a special day for him.
 
Love you Dempsy - and I to wish I could freeze time and keep him forever.

Demps you sure did a Good job of playing into Lori's hands no doubt by by looking as adorable as your picture. That other dog didn't have a chance ! May your Birthday be filled with the sound of your mums combine, with your bestie Elsie, right beside you and that you continue to be the best Farm Manager ever. Hope your lunch was extra special.

Dempsy had a great day. He didn't get to see any of the fun animals, but he enjoyed being with us.  He is a little ticked off to see how much Elsie and I snack during our day.  But he says even though he had a great day, now that he knows what Elsie and I do all day - he is ready to go back to just kitty and him.

Looks like corn has another use.....teeth cleaning.

Was just wondering if Dempsy has a problem with the combines engine sound.....one of ours did not really enjoy riding in a semi-truck cross country...loved the sniffs when it stopped...just not the getting there.  Elsie seems to ignore the sounds and love the sights!! Great snacks and great friends make your job more enjoyable? I would love to help....just a bit far to drive.  Keep videos coming...just love the country!
