Maisie After Spa Treatment

I haven't posted any pictures lately of Maisie and thought everyone might enjoy seeing how much she is growing up, although she still can be a little terror with her Cairn attitude.  Let me tell you when Maisie get's mad, the entire house pays the price.  I never heard a dog screech as loud as she can when she's angry and her focus of anger is almost always on Tess, especially when Tess does something that she doesn't approve of, i.e., picking up one of her toys, or getting too close to Maisie's food when she is eating.  Tess takes it all in stride though, she usually just walks away from her although there have been times when she has pinned Maisie to the floor to put her in her place.  Never a dull moment in this household!

I took Maisie with me to Petco yesterday to have her nails cut, the one thing she will not let me do is cut her nails.  No way, no how is that ever going to happen as far as Maisie is concerned.  She'll let me give her a bath, brush and comb her, clean her ears, (only when Maisie is up for it though) but never lets me near her nails.

Anyway, she had a small spa treatment while we were there and looked so darn cute after that I wanted to share a couple of photos.

What a precious Baby Girl!  Good photos-you actually got her to look at you long enough to do a snap. :)

She is so beautiful. As cute as a Cairn puppy is, I almost think the grown up version is even more cute.

Yes there is something about that yellow bow and she managed to keep it in her hair for most of the afternoon.  Usually when she comes home after a day at the spa and has a bow or ornament in her hair, Tess will investigate as soon as Maisie walks in the door.  Then in a matter of minutes, she manages to remove it from it's place and runs with Maisie running after her letting her know that she's not very pleased with her removal of her bow.

She has a sort of strut when she know that she looks good.....she loves everyone making a fuss over her..... :innocent:
