Malcolm didn't get his Gotcha Day yet

Poor Malcolm didn't get his Gotcha Day this year. March 1 should have been the official celebration. Boy am I late on this. He still hasn't had his special day yet. I haven't been moving much because of my back and haven't been to the pet store to get him a present. Maybe today or tomorrow he will get something special to enjoy.

 

He has been so good this last year. Hasn't destroyed anything that is not his. I laugh so hard when he drags his blanket around the house just like a little kid.

 

Cuddling with him in the lounger is very relaxing. He will actually nap for while longer than he used to before. But then it is time to get up and check the house or look out the window.

 

He will get a special treat soon so hang in there little buddy.

I am pretty sure that Malcolm probably thinks that being able to hang around with Dad, cuddling and napping, is a great Gotcha present even without a new toy. New toys are the icing on the cake (or the marrow in the bone...).
