Cairn Owners In Ohio?

Looking for Cairn owners in Ohio, especially the Columbus area.  Thoughts about upcoming shows, meets, etc.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Hi hi! We are the proud owners of a 19 week old Cairn Terrier female, and we live in Northeast Ohio, Southeast of Cleveland (near Geauga Lake/Six Flags/Sea World). We got our pup from a family on the west side of Cleveland who does not breed regularly, but chose to do so once for their childrens' sake. We've never seen a Cairn walking around our area (there are tons of Pugs and Westies). Here we find out our Vet has a Cairn that she rescued, and someone stopped us in town and asked "Did you get her from the breeder on Bell Road?" which is the street we live off of. We still don't know where that breeder is, but there are more Cairns around than anyone realizes, it seems.

Hi, I realize this isn't Cairn-specific, but the AKC has a great event finder that is handy for finding conformation shows, agility trials, earthdog tests, and the like. You can search as broadly or narrowly as you like. For example, there are conformation shows the 11-14th of November in Columbus, and agility trials December 9-12 in Cleveland.

There is also a helpful club search to locate all-breed, specialty, and performance clubs.

These are good 'indirect' ways of locating Cairn folk in any part of the country.
