Just visited the "dog park" for the first time in a long while. Malcom's dad, I just wanted to say that I am so sorry to hear of your attack and ensuing health problems.  I lived in Evanston from 2000 - 2005 and am so sad to hear my beloved Chicago is going downhill so badly. While I was there, I was an independent student, and I made a lot of sacrifices to live in Evanston to avoid crime as much as I could but so many friends were mugged in our Evanston and Rogers Park neighborhoods when I was there, especially towards the end it got much worse.  Such a wonderful city, but much too much crime all over.   I hope you can get the medical help you need and feel better soon.
