Jack
Today we took Jack & Belle on another long walk in the wilds of North Carolina. Not much different than last weekends walk. It was a little cooler so they didn't play in the water as much. It was so similar that I started not to post it this week. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that it is the highlight of their week and in a lot of ways, ours. They are their happiest when they are on the trail and, truthfully, we are quite happy just to watch their joy. At any rate, I decided to post the video in hopes that someone else would enjoy it also.
Dempsy's Mom
OK - Demps and I will pack our bags. Jack and Belle are so sweet. I like the first pic when they are both laying together with their legs flopped out behind them. What great little hikes you have. Do you ever worry about them taking off after a deer or something? They sure keep an eye on you guys, so I think they like to keep tabs on you just as much as you keep tabs on them. Lovely video - thanks! Jack
They do take off after deer and turkey on occasion, they've never caught any. They have gotten moles and turtles. When they do take off, most things out run them fairly quickly and they return in short order. They rarely get out of sight. I don't think they want to be lost any more than we want to lose them. _whits_
Thank you for sharing. The gleeful rolling in the leaves put such a smile on my face.. I too have noticed my happiest times are when Addie is happiest. hheldorfer
I'll not show this to Buffy because she'll be sooooo jealous. I saw the hole in the tree trunk and wondered if one of them would go in. Sure enough, they dove in with typical Cairn curiosity. Thanks for the smile this morning!
