shadows_mom
Our Cairn Terrier that we inherited last spring, has somehow began to forget he is housebroke. Shadow turned a year old in May and has been with us since last spring. We also have a six year old lab named Maggie. Maggie is wonderful, she never makes messes in the house and she always come in when we call her and she sleeps all day in her kennel with no mess or fuss. Well then there is Shadow... I have to admit I do admire his individuality and his persistent nature. He never wants to come in the house he will
Guest abbycairn
If your Cairn was truely housetrained and has begun to wee inside you should take him to the vet. He may have a urinary infection. If he does not, then you need to begin again with housetraining. Watch him at all times so if he does lift his leg you catch him in the act. Tell him "no" and immediately take him outside. If he finishes up outside, then praise him profusely. He may not have forgotten housetraining, what he may be doing is marking his territory. This is pretty likely, especially if he has not been neutered. Stacey
