Here's Sheriff Rebel McCormick Quickest Cairn in the South

This just ties around the neck. You could put his legs in it but i think it would bother him so I just used it to take the picture. I understand you have to be careful with costumes never have ones that would trip them or are really tight around the neck or body.

Liz, that is definitely going to be hard to beat. What a great picture and yes, I do see a touch of Willie in him. One song of Willie's that comes to mind and is DEFINETELY not written about Cairns is "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground". (NOT!)

Liz, what a great picture. I am still smiling! Shoe, thanks for the websites. I ordered the bumble bee and a bunny costume for Duffy from the Glamor Dog website. I can't wait till they get here. This costume thing is just sooooo much fun. I love it!

Albeit a little blurry, here is Echo at our recent Cairn Race Day, wearing a Barb Schuster original, made originally for Echo's mother, Biscuit. It's a lovely kimono with obi and includes a hairpiece with fabric flower. I don't have a decent picture, but at the first wearing of this costume at a previous Race Day, Biscuit was accompanied by Echo's grandfather Haggis, wearing a Sumo belt made of vet wrap, and hairpiece that included chopsticks (also made by Barb).

Another contestant at our recent Race Day was this very inventive scuba costume worn by Markie.

The winner of our costume contest was the charming Isobel, wearing an equally charming butterfly outfit. Pictures don't do it justice. Your heart would melt.

I LOVE the butterfly costume!! Isobel looks just like Maggie. My heart IS melting! I have GOT to get me one like this.

As one-half of Isobel's costume staff, I'm so glad you liked our girl in her wings. This was a homemade outfit, so you'll have to make it yourself if Maggie is begging for one of her own. Body is knit from cotton chenille. Wings are nylons stretched over a wire frame and painted by Isobel's doting dad. Loosely based on the real-life butterfly "California Sister."
