Just had to share this picture of Hannah. My daughter has always loved Dalmatians and I told her that this was as close as she was getting to ever having one. :D454_dalmatian.JPG

Y'all just cracked me up! Thanks for the chuckle this morning. Now I have to do some thinking about what Tucker is going to be for Halloween. Last year, my husband was a scarecrow, so I let him walk Zoe around and tell everyone he was trying to find Dorothy so he could return her dog! :D

Speaking of Zoe, I just found out that Tucker was born on her birthday! Is that weird, or what?!

Hi! You have all made my day!!! These pictures are too precious for words! I have a hard time putting a leash on Riley - - the closest he has ever gotten to having a costume on is a little red T-shirt with the word "devil" written on the back!!! Thanks for putting a smile on my face!

WONDERFUL Pix.

I love them!

Hannah makes a great dalmation!

Piper looks alot like Wes.

I think Wes may look good in pants.

A year ago, I almost made my husband walk him in a stroller. Those were the days when Wes would eat pebbles. But he said,"NO! The truckers laugh at me already!"

This forum is a riot and those pictures are absolutely hysterical.

My girls usually spend Halloween in the den because the doorbell ringing every minute drives them crazy. This year you all gave me some wonderful ideas about taking them out. Thanks

I was thinking about doing a Wizard of Oz theme this year for a party we are attending. I am going to be the evil witch and I was going to have my husband be Dorothy and carry Maggie around in a basket. He agreed once when he had had a bit too much to drink. But now he is balking! I am going to MAKE him do it. It will be hilarious!

Great pictures! Duffy is going to be a biker. When I was in Hawaii recently there was a pet supply store at one of the malls that had great pet costumes so we got a leather biker cap and a matching vest and collar for Duffy. He hates it, but will try to keep it on him long enough to get a picture. Maggie's Mom, sounds like some sewing might be in order. Maybe your husband would be happier being the Scarecrow, or possibly one of the Winged Monkeys!

What wonderful pictures. I found the Sheriff's Costumes at Joann's Craft shop.

I wonder what the babies are thinking when they get all dressed up? Rebel is very patience with me Of course in this picture he is bored with it all

MikeC, the Evil Winged Monkey would be hilarious!! I'll suggest that and see if I get a better response.

These photos are so awesome!! Maggie's friend Raymond (a pug) dressed up as a hot dog last year. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen!

I am speechless!!!!!!! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

That's one pretty ticked off looking Dalmation - but still the cutey!

If I put an outfit on Scully she'd probably chew it off.

You guys are a hoot. Thanks for sharing those.

Brad has a GREAT idea. We should all dress our Cairns as different breeds, send in the pictures and have a contest (or is that legal in the Forum?) Anyway, I think it would be great fun! :D

I agree....even if it's not a contest, it would definately make for some wonderful photos and who knows.....maybe a theme for a dog calender.

I'm all for it once I figure out how to post pictures correctly.

Scully's Mom,

Hannah wasn't mad at all over being dressed up. She was actually having a blast running around on my couch. This picture was a lucky one of a dozen of her moving. I think she paused comtemplating her next move and I clicked the camera at the right time.

Brad, cute idea but then again being these cairns don't consider themselves dogs, maybe dressing them up as different breeds is demeaning to them. Hannah just knew she was cute due to all the fuss we made over her.

I always feel a little guilty dressing them up, but I swear our boy looks and acts like he feels quite special when he's wearing something. Anyway, I started an Official Cairn Costume Topic. As Halloween approaches it could be amusing to see what develops.

OMG, I laughed so hard, looking at these pictures, that I woke the dogs up from their nap! LOL! Verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry cute! I'll have to look around for some costumes. Maybe we could get a list going of great sites to purchase some neat outfits?

My wife was talking about finding some costumes for our Rick and Elise....I thought she was joking! :P But I found out she wasn't....and when she read about someone dressing their husband up as Dorothy, well just let me say that I'm REALLY worried. She seems to be thinking in that direction :shy:

There's some kind of global cross-dressing Cairn conspiracy, mayos. I was the only guy on an all-Cairn obedience team (picture four cairns doing obedience exercises in formation) and there was unsettling talk of dressing the team up as four Dorothy's. Thank heavens we went with coordinated vests instead.

Mayos-I am the guilty party of talking about dressing my husband up as Dorothy for Halloween. Tonight I found a XXL Dorothy costume for him on EBay and was the highest bidder until the last 5 minutes when someone else outbid me....maybe it was your wife getting YOU a costume...be afraid, be very afraid!
