wags
Seems Wes has stopped chewing and destroying stuff... So I got him a stuffed dog the same size as he is. At first he barked at it. but now he likes its softness. I hope it lasts- the stuffed dog and my dog's good behavior.
kayharley
I'd do anything for Madison to not destroy the cute stuffed dog toys that are out there. Even the hard vinyl ones last less than an hour. I stopped buying them. I would love to see her carry around a little "friend" that has all it's body parts still on. Scully'sMom
Boy am I with you on this one. I have a friend, God bless her, who keeps bringing Scully all kinds of stuffed animals and I've tried to gently tell her that Scully eats them like there's no tomorrow. I hate to see her waste her money on them.
toomanypaws
My cairn girls just crack me up w/ their toys. Not sure why some never get destroyed and others get their squeaker and stuffing pulled out within minutes. Here's a picture of my now almost 10 mth old Abbey w/ her Lambsy when she was around 7 wks old. She still sleeps w/ Lambsy every night and won't let either of the other two play w/ it. My oldest, Kiara has several different stuffed toys that she plays/sleeps w/ and never tears apart and then she has a few w/ just material left that she refuses to part w/. <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/maiwag/terriersiggy.jpg" border="0" class="linked-sig-image" /> Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)

Mama Kim
That is the sweetest picture!! Piper, too, loves to destroy her 'babies'. She eats the faces off them!! osuvicki
This is interesting. Grace never destroys or chews up her toys and babies. Now give her one of my black heels...and she is in heaven. She's destroyed 3 pairs to date......only black shoes. I think she is trying to tell me something about my choice in shoes....lol.
Eliz222
Here is Scout and Finch playing with their favorite toy. It's a big dog! I've had to stitch it up a few times already, in fact, It's in the "sew" box right now! LOL!
CarCarDawn
Hi! Riley has many, many beautiful stuffed toys that he plays with and has never tried to destroy - - - in fact - - - the only stuffed animal he demolished I had purchased at a dollar store!! Guess he has expensive taste!!!!
MikeC
Duffy will grab his small stuffed animals by the neck and shake them like there is no tomorrow. I guess its the instinct of what Cairns were bred to do. He loves sofa pillows and will pull them off the sofa and drag them into the bedroom and take them under the bed, his favorite place to stash stolen items. Do any of you have Cairns that are little theifs? When anything turns up missing, I pretty sure to find it under the bed. MikeC
Mama Kim
Yes, Mike!! Piper hides her bones, socks, underwear , kids' stuffed animals, etc. under our bed!! She is such a thief. Or sometimes I find a pile of pilfered socks under one of our end tables downstairs. (With three boys, there are always dirty socks lying around somewhere. ) Kim,mama to furbaby, Piper 4/13/2003 "Things that upset a terrier may pass virtually unnoticed by a Great Dane." ~ Smiley Blanton
MikeC
MamaKim, I'm glad I'm not the only one! I must admit though, I get a great kick and LOL when I see him hightailing it through the house with one of his pilferred items in his mouth. He thinks he is soooooo slick. I really love this little guy. Even though he tries my patience on a daily basis, he is nonetheless a joy to have as a pet! MikeC
Mama Kim
Isn't that the truth?? One of the biggest joys there is is to watch Piper stealthily (or so she thinks) stuff an entire sock in her mouth, head down so you can't really see her mouth, giving me the whites of her eyes, as she saunters downstairs or under the bed to hide her 'stash'. wags
Wes looks through the laundry bin like he's selecting something from a box of expensive chocolates. He doesn't hide anything. I can imagine one day in the future-- I'm talking to a neighbor and Wes drags someone's bloomers into the living room...
wags
Yesterday, Wes wanted to take "Mr. Doggy" his life-size pal, to bed (Well, that too.) Anyway Wes dragged him over to the crate, got inside and managed to pull him all the way inside.
