Wouldn't you know I'm in the southeast and nothing like that ever happens around here. :mad: I really enjoyed looking at all of the past events. I noticed fencing up and cairns on leashes so even my runner, Kiara could attend such an event. I LOVED the costumes every year, especially 2002. I'll have to show my dd the Little Cairn on the Prairie being she owns every season of that show on DVD. :whistle: The 4 seasons was pretty cute too. Everyone looked quite happy in costume except Dodger (2003), he looked ready to be done w/ such nonsense. Also in 2003, Scotch Broom Paisley looks so much like my 4 mth old Hannah, only bigger. :wub: One more thing, where did Graham (2003) get that cairn shirt? I LOVE it!!!!

Well Brad, thanks for giving me my cairn rush for the night. I truly enjoyed the pictures and am now wondering if I'm letting cairns take over my life. :confused:

Glad I found this forum so I could find others who relate to my cairn obsession.

I'll try MikeC. In California there are two CTCA-affiliated AKC Cairn Terrier clubs with a third (*) >>this close

Cairn Terrier Club of Northern California

* Sacramento Valley Cairn Terrier Club (email Trish Watson)

Cairn Terrier Club of Southern California

There are good and lively people in all three clubs and each of them will most likely have events that are, if not exactly similar, will be similar in spirit (having fun with Cairns and Cairn-folk). You don't have to show Cairns in conformation to belong to a regional Cairn club and enjoy the dogs and camaraderie.

Folks in other parts of the country may wish to contact the club in their region: CTCA Affiliate Clubs.

Thanks so much for providing those links. The NorCal club is having an event on 9/25 in my area that I am planning on attending and becoming a member of.
