Do you have other pets besides your cairn?

I'm just curious how many have other pets in their house besides their cairns. I didn't start out w/ cairns, always had a lab and preferred large dogs. These little cairns have a way of working their way right into our heart.

Besides sharing our home w/ our adorable cairns, here's the rest of our pet family, including them:

Also, meant to ask if you do have other pets, how does your cairn get along w/ them? Our 3 cairns do pretty good w/ everyone. Of course we're careful w/ the birds. My 3 yr old cairn sometimes gets an attitude w/ the lab. I think it's over wanting the same toys. The cat refuses to let the cairns take over the house and stays right in the middle of the action. The aussie is an outside dog and the cairns love running w/ him.

 Now I see where your name, toomanypaws came from. Your family is wonderful. If I only had a larger house I'd have many more.

Right now its my two Cairns, three gerbils, fresh-water aquarium and the critters I love that live in our stone wall.

Our black bear hamsters died and I washed their cages and stored them in the attic and told my dd maybe we'll get another one but not now. The reptiles are my dh's hobby and he takes care of them. The mess of a cockatoo equals 3 cairns!

Is there anyway to edit my question? I noticed I typed "your" and it should say "you have" So much for typing when I'm tired.

We have Cooper the cairn (13 months) and Yoda and schnoodle (eleven weeks), and for the most part, they get along well. Except for last night when I heard a snarl, a snap, and then whimpering from the puppy which ended up with Cooper getting place in solitary confinement. I also have a fish and the grandkids, but for the most part, they aren't a bother.

pat.

Children don't care how much you know...they want to know how much you care.

We have two Cairns. Scout, who is a 2 year old female, and Finch, who is 4 months old. We also have a cat, Bach, who pretty much ignores the dogs. The puppy still likes to chase Bach, but Bach just hisses and runs away. The dogs play together constantly, which I'm sure, irritates the cat to no end!

We have Calli and two parakeets. Calli barely even notices them and the seem not to care too much about Calli. We broke down our aquarium finally after 10 years ( - yes it was mine) and Santa gave my son a certificate for a poison dart frog and all the stuff to set up the aquarium. But then we ended up with Calli so I think that DS is going to be getting a letter from Santa in the mail for something else!

I loved my fish - but they were higher maintenance than the dog AND the birds!!!! (I was very serious about my fish)!
