teccon
We now have our second Cairn. Our first, Chevis was a beautiful brindle. We had to put her down due to a failing liver. Our present Cairn, Missie is a beautiful redish blonde. She is almost 14 years old and is beginning to slow down a little. We'd like to get a Cairn puppy in the near future. We'd like to get a puppy that would most probably turn out to be wheaton as an adult. We know that it's not totally predictable, but we wonder what the possibilities are? When we got Missie, we tried for a different color than Chevis, and it allowed us to see her as a completely different member of our family. It worked so well that we'd like to try it again. We are retired, in our mid 60's and have plenty of time to devote to bringing a puppy into our family. We don't plan to show the pup, but we will take it to obedience and agility school. We think we'd prefer a male this time, but we'll settle for either sex.
