Can they sleep too much?

Guest B's Mom

When B was 5 months old, we never thought he would sleep, ever. He was a bundle of energy who hated being put in his crate at night. Well gradually he has started resting during the day. Now with the very warm summer months, he sometimes takes "puppy naps" during the day, a few minutes here and there several times a day. Is this normal, and a sign he is growing up?

Thanks in advance for the advice. :)

Hi! Riley has begun doing the same thing - - napping here and there! He never took a nap before but I think the hot and humid days just get to him - - - also he is getting older and is a bit calmer now. The vet says it is normal!!! A cairn acting normal????? what's that???!!!!!!!!!!!
