Clicker.

Is.

Amazing!

Ok, well maybe that's a little too over the top, but I have been struggling with getting Louie to get lay down. I noticed that with his squeaky ball I could get him to do some of the things at the agility course just by squeezing the ball. I decided maybe he needed something to "mark" his good thing other than me saying good boy.

I bought a cheapie little clicker, watched a video on youtube to make sure I was going to use it properly and we were off. After 3 clicks and some green beans (GREEN BEANS who knew?!?) he got it right away.

I am absurdly proud of both of us. LOL

The clicker can make dogs do amazing things!

We first learned how to use it when we took Miya to obedience class. It still works to this day!
