Traveling with Our Cairn, Amelie

Last fall we loaded up our car and our Cairn and traveled east for 7 weeks and watched the leaves change colour. Boy, what an ice-breaker a Cairn terrier is! We would show up at the door of B & Bs that said "No Dogs Allowed" and we were consistently allowed to stay. A well-behaved species of this breed is just too cute to refuse.

We are planning on traveling from Canada down to Arizona in winter of 2009. Are there any Tusconites who fit the following?

Responsible, active, retired Canadian couple and their Cairn terrier are looking to house-sit and/or dog-sit and/or rent an apartment or house for one to two months in Tuscon during January to March 2009.
