Hello. I know that I am new but would anyone please tell me if cairn's do indeed cast their coat? If so, would you describe it to me. Thank you. I did not get any replies yesterday. I really do appreciate any response, even if it's just an "I don't know." :)

Do you mean "shed?"

If you do, I don't think they shed like most dogs. A hair here, a hair there...

I just brushed/combed my dog and got a lot of dead hair out that way.
