depression

A couple of weeks ago, Wes got 2 shots- distemper and rabies and a heartgard pill.

Last week, he got hurt leaping off a chair. It seemed he was all better until last evening.

At first, he yelped whenever anyone touched him. then he yelped without being touched. His body doesn't hurt when you hug him or rough up his fur, or hug or cuddle him.

And he seems so down- which is a big turn-around from his almost-hyperactive self.

Our puppy had a bad reaction to the shots the vet gave him and we took him back (same day) and they gave him something to help the reaction and were told that before he is given shots he should always get benedryl.

Another place to check is with the breeder. In the contract we signed it has in bold DO NOT GIVE SENTINEL. She said that was because of reactions she has know cairns to have who have taken the medication.

Hope your pup is better soon.
