My pompov "chance" has been trying to pull his dew claw off since I met him.

It seemed like he would only pull on it when he was stressed. He hasn't pulled on it for a while. The little fella has been through a lot. We lost my husband Bob a year ago and he didn't understand I guess.

Anyways, he always cleans his feet. Lately the last few days he's been pulling on it a lot my friend said he thinks it's split in the middle. I'm going to try trimming it along with his nails.

If he keeps pulling at it I'm talking him to the vet. I'm writing this in hopes that someone else has been through the same thing and has advice?
