A touching ode to dogs

Sam I Am

Recommended Posts

I was reading about a rescue site whose volunteers were dealing with the grief of of coping with animals in distress and end of life, when another dog came up to one of the volunteers and notably was giving comfort to the volunteer. She wrote this about her experience.

” In the depth of despair dogs become our silent therapists, understanding without words and healing with their presence.”

We all deal with grief and loss in our lives and our animals play such an important part of providing comfort.

I agree totally.  My Annie was by my side through cancer treatments and recovery. A huge help in a small package.  I’ll say it again….they are gifts.
