Dixie is doing well. 12 lbs now and 1sr birthday coming up. She had her surgery for the liver shunt but her following blood tests were disappointing. We can’t afford further surgery so using a wait and see policy. Dixie uses pee pads - useful for monitoring.  I’m wondering if she is peeing more than normal so reaching out to Susa out what “normal” is

For Stella we wouldn't have even known her peeing was off if we did not have four other dogs in the house at the time to compare to.  However there is apparently 'a number' ...

The calculation for normal urine production is 2mL per kilogram per hour. Therefore [your] 3 pound puppy (1.5kg) should produce about 3mL of urine an hour, or about 72mL every day. There are 5mL in a teaspoon, to give you an idea.
