We own an awesome 4-yr old Cairn who has been skillfully and lovingly hand-stripped by her breeder every 8-9 months since she was about 8 months old. Sadly, we just found out our breeder (in Fenton, MI) passed away. We are trying to identify someone in NW Ohio who has solid experience with this skill. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Sorry to hear that :( Maybe the national club breeder referral list can give you some breeder contacts who might be able to help or redirect you?

Other resources might include breeders of any of the double-coated terriers (Westies, Norfolk/Norwich, Border, Lakeland, Welsh, etc.). Sometimes you have to follow a few links of a chain to get there :)
