Solid Gold Wee Bits Bison Dry Food

Recommended Posts

Hello, all,

My pups, both 12 and 13, both Cairns, eat a mix of dry food Solid Gold Hund N Flocken (lamb) and wet Merrick canned variety of flavors for years. Today, after already opening the bag and pouring into cannister, I noticed that I had purchased Solid Gold Wee Bits bison formula. It states that it is for dogs of all life stages. Would it hurt to continue to feed this to my pups? Does anyone feed this to their pups? Thank you! Gina

Dog food that is labeled “all life stages” means that your dog can eat the food his entire life. The dog food is “complete and balanced,” and it has passed the nutritional requirements for both the “adult maintenance” and the “growth and reproduction” standards set by the AAFCO. So I think it would be completely fine to continue to feed her solid gold. Also because I've heard good thing of solid gold. My mothers little bulldog ate all life stages solid gold and it didn't deprive her of anything. Try keeping her on it and if it doesn't seem to be doing what it should change her to a senior dog food

Yes, thank you! I decided to purchase her usual food but may return to get a bag of the wee bits to mix with as she enjoyed it so much. Like people, after 13 years, she is probably tired of the same food ;) Gina
