I justified buying furniture for my dog to see out the window by thinking it would make a handy mini-dresser for any guests that come. It really is a great piece; light, really easy to put together, and versatile.

I keep a physical photo album in my apartment and a digital photo album on my phone of my past dogs. It's nice to be able to remember the furry friends who've helped you make it through life. My favorite picture of my first terrier Freckles and my great grandma is attached. That picture of Autumn the Maltese was actually taken by Addie's favorite receptionist who has worked for my dad for my entire life. She's been close to all of my dogs and took Autumn out to her farm years ago and got that great picture of her on a John Deere tractor.

I bought the bedding for a great price in the "off to college" section of Target a couple years back, even though I was certainly not off to college. It's my guest bedding/ nap time in the guest room (why is it that naps are better when they're not in your bed?) and its held up very well (no pilling and easy to wash) for what was meant to be for teenagers!

Addie fell asleep in the sunset on her new perch today, which is all I could have hoped for. Thanks again for all of the suggestions!

I keep my photos in the kitchen. Ruffy is on the left. The late, great Carrington on the right. Below are cousins, nieces, nephews, plus cairn terrier teapot doubling as treat jar, purchased on ebay from a nice lady in England!
