Brad I have now in two posts accidentally hit the hidden content button. I seem to be stuck with them and can't edit to get rid of them?

I can edit those out for you. You can typically backspace over special formatting like that (quotes, code samples are two others that create special boxes).  Are you using an iPad or mobile? Sometimes those can be a bit trickier to actually select the formatting to delete. Sometimes touching the little cross-hair at the top marking the box, then backspacing will get rid of the markup, if simple backspacing or select-then-delete doesn't.

Just to follow up. I edited out the post one but can't edit the status updates at all, only hide a whole update. Since no harm done by it might as well leave that one there. It will scroll away in time :)
