tlwtheq
Yep! Even as Teddy seems to be very "down" with no other pups in the house, he still loves new and exciting stuff. I think he's enjoying all the individual attention. 2 Quote Max and Nelly
sanford
Yes Tara, I've noticed this before... When 2-dog households became 1-dog households, the remaining dog seemed to enjoy the individual attention, as you say. Edited March 30, 2016 by sanford Quote FEAR THE CAIRN! Hillscreek
I just have to put a little lift in my voice and Angus is ready to party! Whether it is an actual party, or only a regular old daily event he is ready for it.
Lynn in TN
I have noticed that with my dogs, but seeing it in writing made me want to try it with a word they know but it usually makes them hide. The word is "bath". So I started off by acting excited and doing a happy dance while squealing, saying oh boy a bath, a bath. When I started they were getting excited until the word bath come out of my mouth.... Prissy darted back to our bedroom and crawled under our bed, while Kelly quickly crawled under my chair in the living room, just like always......haha
Sam I Am
I have come to the conclusion that Rosie can read our minds and takes appropriate hiding techniques. And no bribing, happy dances and even cheese, will get her out from underneath the bed when things like bath, teeth cleaning and visits to the vet are looming. 3 Quote Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened. - Anatole France Adventures with Sam &Rosie
