Happy Christmas story from UK forum

The little sweetheart on the left was rescued at 18 months. She had been beaten, kicked and generally abused. She crouched under the table or chair. She wet herself. She was a wreck. This terrified little girl was fostered and then adopted into a wonderful family with a big brother cairn to show her the world was not all bad. Now three years later here she is safe and happy.

The UK Cairn Terrier Relief Fund finds homes for cairns in need. They do a wonderful job!

Just gorgeous, both of them.  I'm so glad she's found a wonderful home and is safe and loved (and by the looks of it, a bit spoiled! :) ) Good, she needed some spoiling. A Cairn big brother was just the icing on the cake. :)

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face this morning Hillscreek!  They are lovely dogs and, as Autumn said, apparently happy and spoiled (as they should be)!

:P:PHelene sorry to hog your post but it seemed a good place to post my Xmas card also.

Oops sorry Hillcreek, Helene isn't your name! Having a grey moment!

Brad moved my own xmas post for me.

Helene is a beautiful name. Sort of wish it WAS mine!

Thank you, Hillscreek, although I didn't have any say in it.:P

I'm really glad the little one found a safe, loving home.  Every time I hear about the way humans abuse nonhumans it makes me ill, and then very, very angry.  At least this baby girl is safe.
