tlwtheq
Brad, our fearless and sage leader, can you please explain the color code for those who are/were logged in to the forum. I see three distinct colors: amber/orange, a purple kind of color, and blue (which is, as far as I can tell..you alone). So how do we know who's online when? (Sorry, just trying to keep my mind distracted.) Quote Max and Nelly
bradl
Sure, the colors reflect user groups. Blue is the admin group ( yeah, just me at this point), purple denotes subscribers, and the various levels of members are dark red (as I see that color ). The who's visited list doesn't track anything in real time it just aggregates logged in members who've triggered a site action (loaded a page or similar) within the last twelve hours. tlwtheq
Thanks. Got my three Cairns snoozling next to me as I sit up late worrying overtime. They're good company that way. Watching, "Gone With the Wind". Go Figure. 1 Quote Max and Nelly
hheldorfer
Off-topic but related: I *was* a subscriber a while back. I'm sure my "membership" expired so I used the link you posted to re-up. Problem is it says I am only allowed one "purchase of this item" and I have already purchased it. Confused.

Sorry Brandl, I'm in the dark re color coding. Don't know what it is or where it appears. Can you explain? Thanks! Quote FEAR THE CAIRN!
bradl
@hheldorfer that's almost certainly a misconfiguration on my part! Way to shoot self in foot, Brad. Will fix this afternoon (I'm head down on a project this AM). @sanford scroll down to bottom of index (front) page and all should be revealed ("who was online"). Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions? sanford
Got it! Thanks Bradl, this was also a good reminder for me to re-subscribe and move from red to purple! Quote FEAR THE CAIRN!

bradl
Subscriptions are a way of recognizing supporters of the site who've helped defray operating costs. A spiffy purple badge is the main difference. Subscribers can also create a blog. I think that's about it at the moment. Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions?
