josie&holly
This is link to winners of classes http://crufts.fossedata.co.uk/Breed.asp?ShowYear=2015&GroupID=TER&ScheduleID=101 and the Best of Breed is this Cairn http://ingrus.net/cairn/en/details.php?id=4504 Very handsome but did not get selected for the Best in Show group! The Terrier that was selected was a Scottish Terrier with amazing eyebrows that is American/Russian. josie&holly
A very unpleasant event I saw first on Facebook and now BBC/ITV and now in Dogworld regarding a dog that was poisoned see http://www.dogworld.co.uk/product.php/132258/ Quote www.cairnterriertalk.co.uk

tlwtheq
Haven't looked yet but shall! I love Crufts...thanks for posting us and getting us the latest news,Josie! (B.t.w., probably doesn't have anything to do with whom you are, but one of my favorite jazz-rock songs is "Josie" from a relatively dated Steely Dan album. Some of the words are, "You're the pride of the neighborhood!". Just thought of it; don't know why.) Quote Max and Nelly
Sam I Am
How awesome is that... A Scottie! Just saw the video of her. She really is lovely. Love that long nose. Also it seems they have had some excitement and drama. A fellow running onto the floor, brandishing a sign about mutts and cruft, then being hauled away by police and officials. Then the tragic story of a dog being poisoned ! tlwtheq
I've been reading more about the poisoned pup. What was the perpetrator thinking? Why harm an innocent individual? It makes me so sad. Humans confuse me, though sometimes I have a good idea, unfortunately, Quote Max and Nelly
Hillscreek
Seems the Setter was poisoned in Belgium and not at Crufts. http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/564391/Crufts-2015-murder-Irish-setter-Jagger-NOT-poisoned-Kennel-Club And on another Crufts story Here's an article re the handling of the Scottie. http://caninechronicle.com/featured/rethinking-the-word-abuse/ Reminders not to jump to conclusions and on how scary it is when we jump on the bandwagon or click on Facebook or whatever without looking in to facts more closely.
Sam I Am
The Scottie did not look like it was being abused at all...silly people . Cruft seems to have a history of such weird incidents.
