Can I copy & send a post from"Behavior & health" to a non-member?

From time to time,(amusing/serious/interesting) topics come up that I want to pass along to friends/relatives. Is there a way to send these topics and one or two of the comments and accompanying photos to non-members?

Sure, there are several (many, even). The best/easiest is probably to just send them a link direct to the post itself:

If you click the post number a popup will provide the direct URL to that specific post. You can paste that anywhere. 

 

You can also use the social share buttons, print (if you print to a PDF, then you can send the PDF as an attachment to someone), or even save an html file of the page.

 

 

In addition to facebook you can also share via twitter, google+ etc. The social share buttons in the popup should link to the post; the same buttons at the bottom of the topic view page should link to the topic.

 

But by far the simplest may be to simply paste the post URL using the post ID checkbox, as shown in the first screenshot.

Thank you Bradl.  I should have asked this question sooner. Everyone who knows me, knows what a fan I am of this site. For years, (literally!) I have tried and failed to forward some wonderful posts and pix from Cairn Talk, in order to give friends and relatives some idea of why I'm so crazy about it. Now, thanks to you, I can do this. 

 

The irony is that my computer is having a problem with sending email for the time being.  I've been reassured that this will be a simple fix, but we'll see... Wish me luck!
