kieiras mom
Well, just today discovered Keiras stubborn mind again. She hates rain, but there were 2 squirrels in the yard and as usual, she treed them them and then sat down and dared them to come down. The deluge came down so fast and hard that I could not see her very well. Do you think she came in? But try to get her in the bathtub and it is a battle royal. They sure do have minds of their own. Guess I will raise the red flag of surrender.
hheldorfer
Ahhhh yes . . . the Great Water Mystery. DH and I have discovered the answer and will share it with you. There are two types of water: Wild Water, which falls from the sky and flows in rivers, and Tame Water, which flows from the bathtub faucet. A Cairn will gladly be doused by Wild Water but wants absolutely no contact with Tame Water (except for filling the water bowl). _whits_
My Cairn is a whimp with wild and tame water. She has been known to try to rip my arm off dragging me inside to get out of the rain. Hillscreek
Wild water and tame water - it's all the same to me. I'm just like my special friend Addie - keep me outta that stuff!

kieiras mom
Keira had 3 baths today. About 2:30 AM she ran out the doggy door (told DH not to leave it open and was spayed by a skunk! No damage to her, except her disgust at the Tame Water. Now trying to get the smell out of the house, UGH
