Well, just today discovered Keiras stubborn mind again. She hates rain, but there were 2 squirrels in the yard and as usual, she treed them them  and then sat down and dared them to come down. The deluge came down so fast and hard that I could not see her very well. Do you think she came in? But try to get her in the bathtub and it is a battle royal. They sure do  have minds  of their own. Guess I will raise the red flag of surrender. :redflag:

Ahhhh yes . . . the Great Water Mystery.  DH and I have discovered the answer and will share it  with you.  There are two types of water:  Wild Water, which falls from the sky and flows in rivers, and Tame Water, which flows from the bathtub faucet.  A Cairn will gladly be doused by Wild Water but wants absolutely no contact with Tame Water (except for filling the water bowl).

My Cairn is a whimp with wild and tame water. She has been known to try to rip my arm off dragging me inside to get out of the rain.

Keira had 3 baths today. About 2:30 AM she ran out the doggy door (told DH not to leave it open and was spayed by a skunk! No  damage to her, except her disgust at the Tame Water. Now trying to get the smell out of the house,  UGH
